I've made quite a bit of progress in this last week, but I do think I'll need to go out and get some non nickel-plated needles. I'm allergic to nickel, and the amount of sewing I've been doing has caused the skin on my fingers to peel, which is rather uncomfortable. The hot weather isn't helping the issue either.
